Refund Policy

All sales are final once a licence is issued. WebBuddyMarketplace sells digital products. Payment is taken, a licence is created, and download access is granted in the same fulfilment. That is delivery. There is nothing physical to send back, and there is no way to take the files out of a computer that already received them.

By placing an order you ask us to deliver immediately, you waive any cooling-off or withdrawal right that can be waived, and you accept this policy. Checkout will not complete without that acceptance.

What a completed order is

An order is complete when payment is captured and we have issued a licence for the item. From that moment you have the product. Opening the download, copying a licence code, or saving a file is not a separate later event — it is you using what you already bought.

What we will not refund

We do not refund, credit, or reverse a completed order for any of the following. This list is not exhaustive.

  • Change of mind, regret, or buying the wrong licence tier.
  • Finding a lower price, a coupon, or a sale after you paid.
  • Not reading the listing, the demo, the licence terms, or this policy.
  • The item not fitting your stack, host, theme, plugin, Node version, or skill. Every listing offers a live demo so you can check that before you pay.
  • Wanting a feature the listing did not promise, or a customisation we or the author did not sell.
  • Support questions, installation help, or a delay in an author's reply. Support is not a money-back guarantee.
  • Bundle or suite purchases after fulfilment. Delivery of the suite is delivery of every included item.
  • A card you were not authorised to use. That is a matter for your bank, not a refund request.
  • Chargebacks, payment disputes, or "friendly fraud". See below.

The only fulfilment failure

If we took payment and no licence was issued and no download was made available, that is a failure to deliver. We will retry delivery first. If we still cannot fulfil, we will refund that payment. That is the only case in which you should expect your money back.

A corrupt or unreadable archive is a replacement issue, not a refund. We replace the file. We do not unwind the sale.

A listing that is materially false — not "I expected more", but a fact on the page that is untrue — we will investigate. Our decision is final. If we agree the listing was false we may, at our sole discretion, replace the item or refund. Downloaded files must be deleted if we refund. We are not obliged to refund where a demo was available and would have shown the same product you received.

How (and when) to ask

If you believe the fulfilment-failure case applies, write from the purchases page within 48 hours of payment, from the same account. Include the invoice number and what failed. We may ask for evidence. Silence after seven days is a withdrawal of the request. Filing a request does not pause the sale and does not entitle you to a refund.

If we ever refund

A refund is a discretion, not a right, except in the fulfilment-failure case above. If one is granted:

  • The licence is revoked immediately.
  • Every download token stops working.
  • You must delete every copy of the files. Keeping them after a refund is unlicensed use.
  • The author's earnings are clawed back. That is between us and the author. It is not a reason to keep the product.

Chargebacks

A chargeback or payment dispute on a delivered digital licence is treated as a breach of these terms. We will:

  • Revoke the licence and every download token.
  • Close the account and refuse future purchases.
  • Contest the dispute with the gateway and your bank, including evidence that the licence was issued.
  • Recover the order total, gateway fees, and our reasonable costs where the law allows.

Ask us first. A chargeback is not a substitute for this policy.

Changes

We may change this policy at any time. The version that applies to an order is the version published when that order was paid. Later changes do not reopen a completed sale.

Where a law gives you a right that cannot be waived, that right applies only as far as the law requires. Everything else on this page still applies.
