Brand kits and products
Read a brand kit from a website or set it by hand, keep several brands in a workspace, and build a product library with automatic background removal.

Everything in Adcraft hangs off a brand. A workspace can hold several brands, and each brand has its own kit, products, briefs, characters, voices and ads. Switch brands from the sidebar (Switch brand, Add a brand) or from Brands.
Brand kits
A brand kit is what makes every ad look and sound like the brand. Static ads use its exact colours, fonts, logo and CTA style; concepts follow its tone and its "do say" and "don't say" lists.
Read it from a website
Give a website address when you create a brand (the Set up the kit from the website box is ticked by default), during onboarding, or later with Read the website on the brand kit page. It takes ten to twenty seconds and uses no AI, so it costs nothing.
Adcraft fetches the page and its stylesheets, and takes a screenshot with a headless browser. From those it fills in:
| Field | How it is found |
|---|---|
| Logo | The site's structured data, a logo image or inline SVG in the header, or its touch icon |
| Colours | Primary, secondary, accent, background and text, scored from CSS variables, styles, the theme colour and how much of the screenshot each colour covers |
| Fonts | The fonts the site uses, mapped to the closest of the eight kit fonts |
| Tagline | The main headline, if it is a sensible length |
| Tone | Up to three tone words guessed from the copy and fonts |
The brand kit page shows what was found, including the screenshot, the site's colours and the fonts it uses. Each import is saved as a new version of the kit.
Tip
Some sites block automated readers or draw everything with JavaScript. If the import finds little, set the kit by hand: nothing else depends on the import working.
Edit it by hand
| Section | Fields |
|---|---|
| Identity | Brand name, industry, website, logo (PNG, SVG, JPG or WebP, up to 15 MB) |
| Colours | Primary, secondary, accent, background and text |
| Type | Heading and body font, from DM Sans, Inter, Instrument Serif, Playfair Display, Space Grotesk, Poppins, Montserrat and Lora |
| Voice | Tone words (warm, bold, playful, luxurious, minimal, honest, energetic, calm), plus "Do say" and "Don't say" lines |
| Copy | Tagline and CTA style (pill, rounded, square or outline) |
A live preview shows the kit applied to an ad. Save kit stores a new version; earlier versions are kept for the ads that were made with them, and the page header shows "Brand kit · vN of M".
Not in this version
- No browsing or restoring old kit versions. Versions are kept, but there is no screen to open or roll back to one.
- Saving the kit by hand hides the website findings (screenshot, site colours and fonts) until you read the website again.
- Plan brand counts are not enforced. Any workspace can add brands; see Known limitations.
Product library
Products are reused in briefs, static ads and videos. Each one keeps a name, description, price, product URL, the original photo and a cutout with the background removed.
Add a product
- Upload a photo: PNG, JPG or WebP up to 15 MB. It is rotated upright and scaled to fit 2048 pixels, then cut out.
- Import from a product page: paste the address and Adcraft reads the name, description, price and main photo. It tries, in order, a Shopify product page, the page's structured product data, and its social-sharing tags. Images smaller than 200 by 200 pixels are refused.
Background removal
Every new or replaced photo is cut out automatically with BiRefNet on fal.ai (FAL_KEY). It costs no credits. The product page shows the cutout status and the last few runs under Cutout history, and Redo cutout runs it again. Only the latest cutout is kept.
Without FAL_KEY, the original photo is kept as the "cutout" and the card says the cutout ran offline.
Search
The library and the ads list can be searched by name. The search box in the top bar (or Cmd+K) jumps to any workspace page or searches ad names.
