Two ways to make an ad
| AI-designed ad (default) | Editable brand ad | |
|---|---|---|
| What the AI does | The image model designs the finished ad for each size, copy included, using the product cutout as a reference | The image model paints only the background scene |
| Text, logo and product | Part of the generated image | Separate layers drawn with your brand kit's exact fonts, colours, logo and CTA style |
| Editing afterwards | Refine with written instructions, or generate a new version | Change the copy, layout, sizes and product scale, and re-render for free |
| Credits | The image model's credits, once per size | 2 credits |
Note
For an editable ad, the form's estimate shows the selected model's price, but the amount charged is always 2 credits.
Art directions
Four art directions are offered: Product spotlight, Editorial split, Quiet luxury and Bold statement. In the editor they are called Hero, Split, Minimal and Bold. In editable mode they are real layouts; you can also start from a saved brand layout (see Templates).
Sizes
Tick the Export sizes you need; 4:5 is ticked by default.
| Size | Pixels | Typical placement |
|---|---|---|
| 1:1 | 1080 × 1080 | Meta feed (square) |
| 4:5 | 1080 × 1350 | Meta feed (portrait) |
| 9:16 | 1080 × 1920 | Meta Stories and Reels |
| 16:9 | 1920 × 1080 | YouTube |
Each size is rendered at the exact pixel size of its placement.
Choosing the model
- Best quality uses the default image model (Nano Banana Pro on fal.ai unless an admin changed it).
- Fast draft uses the cheapest connected image model.
- Advanced model settings lists every image model, marking those that are disabled or not connected.
If the chosen model's provider has no key, the form says which key to add on the server and the Generate button stays disabled.
Edit an editable ad
The layer editor has:
- layout (Hero, Split, Minimal, Bold);
- headline, subhead and call to action;
- alignment (left or centre);
- headline size, overlay strength and product size.
Save & re-render redraws every size with the same scene, at no cost.
Refine and regenerate
| Mode | Options |
|---|---|
| AI-designed | Write Refinement instructions and Apply changes (the current artwork is used as a reference), Generate a new version, or Generate missing sizes for sizes you add later |
| Editable | Regenerate background for a new scene |
Re-render all sizes exports the existing artwork again without generating anything, at no cost.
Download
Each size has its own Download link (a PNG named after the ad, ratio and pixel size), and Download all gives a ZIP of every finished size.
Bulk generation
Create → Many at once (/briefs/bulk) makes one ad for every combination of concepts and layouts:
- Pick concepts from any brief (concepts you already selected are ticked).
- Pick one or more layouts: Hero, Split, Minimal, Bold.
- Pick an image model from the connected ones.
- Check the estimate (2 credits per ad) and start.
Bulk ads are always editable ads in all four sizes. Each one counts against the generation rate limit (30 a minute per workspace by default), and the page reports how many were queued and how many failed.
Warning
Bulk generation does not check for a connected image model first. Without one, it produces placeholder gradient scenes behind your layout and still charges 2 credits for each ad.
Not in this version
- No carousel ads. Carousels appear in plan descriptions but there is no carousel format.
- No CSV import. The create menu describes bulk as "CSV of products → briefs", but bulk works from existing concepts only.
- AI-designed ads ignore the art direction. The chosen direction is used for editable layouts, not in the AI-designed prompt.
- Editable layers cannot be moved freely. The editor changes the product's size, not its position, and colours come from the brand kit.
