Collecting emails

Switch on Settings → Collect emails to add a subscribe field to the public page. Addresses also arrive from links locked with Email to unlock. Each address is stored once per page.

Audience lists the addresses with the date they arrived and has an Export CSV button. Collecting and exporting work on every plan.

Broadcasts

Under Audience → Write a note, a creator writes a subject (3 to 120 characters) and a plain-text body (10 to 4,000 characters) and sends it to everyone on the list.

Your setup What happens
RESEND_API_KEY set The note is emailed through Resend in batches of 40, each batch addressed to the sender with the subscribers in BCC. The sender name is the creator's display name; the address is RESEND_FROM, or hello@ plus VITE_PUBLIC_HOSTNAME. The broadcast is saved as sent.
No Resend key Nothing is emailed. The broadcast is saved as ready, and Open mail opens the creator's own mail app with up to 40 addresses in BCC.

One broadcast per page every five minutes.

Important

Broadcasts are plain text with no unsubscribe link and no unsubscribe handling. Many countries' email laws, and Resend's own terms, expect one. Add an unsubscribe line to the template, or keep broadcasts off, before you let creators mail their lists through your Resend account.

Broadcasts need the broadcasts key (Pro and Premium as created by the migrations), checked on the server when sending and when listing past broadcasts. Audience does not show a lock: on a plan without the key, the form is there but sending fails with "Email broadcasts is not on your plan. Upgrade to use it." Collecting and exporting emails stay open to every plan.

Inbox

When the page's plan includes the inbox key (Pro and Premium as created by the migrations), the public page shows a message form where a visitor leaves a note or a booking request with their name and email. Messages arrive in Inbox ("Notes and bookings"), where the creator marks them read. Replies are sent from the creator's own email; there is no reply box, and nobody is notified by email when a message arrives.

The message form has no captcha. It is rate limited: 5 messages per visitor IP per page every 10 minutes, and 100 per page per hour. The subscribe field has the same per-IP limit and 300 per page per hour. See Known limitations.

Tools

The Tools section of the studio sidebar holds five small helpers. They do not post to any social network.

Tool What it does
Business cards A printable card with the creator's name, role, phone, email and a QR code to the page. Downloads as a PNG or as a contact file (vCard). Needs the share_kit key.
Caption planner A list of captions with a platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X) and a date, kept in the database. It is a calendar for the creator; nothing is published.
Keyword replies A draft pad for keyword-and-reply pairs ("price" answers with the price list). LinkNest does not connect to Instagram: the creator pastes the replies themselves.
Link shortener Short addresses at /s/<code> that redirect to any http or https link and count taps. Codes are random, or a custom one if it is free. The destination must be a full http:// or https:// address; it is checked again on every redirect, and a link that fails shows "This short link is gone". Each account can make 30 short links an hour.
Post ideas Ready-to-copy post texts written from the creator's own links and page address. Template-based, no AI.

Note

The post ideas and the weekly letter print the page address as linknest.app/<username>, a hard-coded string in 1.0.0, rather than your domain. Edit the text before posting. See Known limitations.
